Biography

Driven by a passion for human movement, performance and musculoskeletal medicine, Salvatore is a physiotherapist specialising in the musculoskeletal and sports field. In 2019, he obtained his physiotherapy degree from the University of Palermo with the highest distinction. He then continued his academic training with a Master's in sports physiotherapy, obtained in 2022 with top honours. Eager to continually broaden his skills, he joined ScuolaTao in Lugano, where he trained in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, thereby enriching his therapeutic approach with an integrative vision of care.

His professional career is marked by a strong international dimension. After his beginnings in Italy, where he also collaborated with the Italian Association of Physiotherapists as regional referent for clinical research, he settled in Paris. There he practised as an independent physiotherapist, working closely with many healthcare professionals in the musculoskeletal and sports field. In parallel, he pursued his training through various specialised courses, notably in dry needling and medical acupuncture in London with the British Medical Acupuncture Society, under the supervision of Professor Mike Cummings, a world-renowned expert in this field. In 2024, he moved to Switzerland, where he joined a physiotherapy clinic as manager, while continuing his training in acupuncture and dry needling, thus consolidating a modern, comprehensive and patient-centred approach.

In 2026, he joins the neurocentre – centre du dos as a physiotherapist, where he puts his expertise and experience at the service of patients.
